Pegasus drops administrative complaint against Green Cove Springs

Green Cove Springs-based Pegasus Technologies has withdrawn a complaint against the city with Florida’s Division of Administrative Hearings.

In July, the aviation services company filed the complaint seeking to reverse a land use and zoning change by the city. The zoning change allows the development of nearly 14 acres near the company’s operations at Reynold’s Airpark into a mixed-used residential housing project.

The company withdrew its petition with the Division of Administrative Hearings on Sept. 21, before a judge held a hearing on the matter.

Pegasus also filed a lawsuit against the city in circuit court, challenging the land use and zoning change. That litigation is still pending, but City Attorney Jim Arnold said that lawyers for both parties are circulating possible settlement documents.
